Welcome to the International Living Donor Liver Transplant RegistryLDLTregistry.org

LDLTregistry.org is a multidisciplinary collaborative of international physicians to study the outcomes of Living Donor Liver Transplantation (LDLT).

The goal of LDLTregistry.org is to improve the practice of LDLT by sharing of research and innovation.

We are indefinitely open for submission of consecutive cases of LDLT donor-recipient pairs from any centre performing LDLT.

Spin-off projects

We are now accepting submissions for spin-off projects, open exclusively to registered members of LDLTregistry.org. The submissions will be reviewed by our data management committee. Click here to access the Data Request Form (login to LDLTregistry.org required). We look forward to receiving your submissions.

First publication

Our first study from LDLTregistry.org has been accepted for publication in the American Journal of Transplantation, with PubMed-indexed group authorship granted to all contributing center collaborators who submitted valid cases. This milestone marks a significant advancement in our mission to improve global living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) outcomes through collaborative research

This groundbreaking study offers invaluable insights into the global variation in LDLT practices and short-term outcomes for both donors and recipients. Using data from an impressive cohort of 1,575 donor-recipient pairs, the publication shines a light on key patterns and opportunities to improve care and outcomes across diverse settings.

Our work reflects the power of international collaboration, and we are immensely grateful to all the collaborators and institutions that made this study possible. Together, we are offering unprecedented insight into LDLT on a global scale. We have three further manuscripts in production focusing on the surgical and anesthesia aspects of LDLT.
