Welcome to the International Living Donor Liver Transplant Registry | LDLTregistry.org
LDLTregistry.org is a multidisciplinary collaborative of international physicians to study the outcomes of Living Donor Liver Transplantation (LDLT).
The goal of LDLTregistry.org is to improve the practice of LDLT by sharing of research and innovation.
OVER 2000 SUBMISSIONS REACHED!
We are delighted to announce that we have passed a total of 2000 case submissions since the Registry opened last September.
We would like to thank everyone for their hard work in achieving this milestone. It is a testament to the determination of the global liver transplant community to work together to allow transparent reporting of outcomes and identify best practice.
We invite all centres performing LDLT to join our project and hope to continue working with the centres that have joined us already. There is no set closing date for LDLTregistry.org – the intention is for project to continue indefinitely.
*** DATABASE LOCK DEADLINE EXTENSION ANNOUNCED — SUBMISSIONS OPEN UNTIL 15th JUNE***
We have received numerous requests for an extension on the database lock deadline to allow participating centres to finalise their submissions for inclusion in our first publication. After careful consideration and in response to popular demand, we are pleased to announce that the deadline for submitting your unselected consecutive LDLT cases has been extended to June 15th.
We understand that this additional time will allow you to finalise your submissions and ensure their completeness increasing the scientific value of your contribution. All contributors with verified submitted consecutive cases will be PubMed cited as group authors. Our first publication will be attributed to “LDLTregistry.org Collaborative” as a group author without hierarchical authorship (no first author, no last author).
Thank you for your continued dedication and hard work on this project. Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Announcing our new partnership with The Transplantation Society!
We are delighted to announce our new partnership with The Transplantation Society (TTS). TTS is a global leader working to develop science, clinical practice, education and guidance on ethical practice in transplantation.
This mission aligns with our goal of studying global living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) practice to elicit transparent outcome data and identify potentially modifiable determinants of outcome. We also hope to foster shared learning and build an international evidence base for best practice in LDLT.
TTS joins our partnership with the International Liver Transplantation Society and the International Living Donor Liver Transplant Group. This opens new avenues for collaboration and will undoubtedly strengthen LDLTregistry.org in our pursuit of improving outcomes for those choosing to selflessly donate.
We are pleased to be able to share these messages of support from our partners:
Prof Elmi Muller (President of The Transplantation Society)
Prof Kim Olthoff (President of the International Living Donor Liver Transplantation Group)
